An independent facilitator (IF) guides you through the complex SDP process, ensuring that you understand all options, and that your choices are effectively implemented. IFs are experts in SDP and traditional services, and advocate for you throughout the journey.

If services are provided with no out-of-pocket cost to the participant.*
The Person Centered Plan and Transitional Supports are funded directly by the regional center. Ongoing IF services are funded through the Spending Plan.
*If a participant over-spends their budget and there are no funds available for ongoing IF support, the family may choose to pay out-of-pocket to maintain IF services.
